Shavonne's Engaged

Shavonne got in engaged on New Year's Eve just before midnight! There is no date set. His name is Joshua McClure. He is 22 1/2/. He lives in Las Vegas and works for the Credit Union. She met him at a Singles Activity. She is home until she gets married and then they will go to Rexburg for her to finish school and he plans to go to school also. He is currently going to school here and working. More later. Along with a picture.

Snow in Las Vegas

Thought I'd let you see our little bit of snow. Nothing like you guys in Washington or anywhere else got, but it did throw Las Vegas for a loop.

Other areas like at Christopher's got far more than we did.

It is just beautiful.

Susan' s Kitchen

My kitchen is just about done. The results are wonderful and we are enjoying the fresh look. Curtis has put in a lot of work. I did help, but he did most of the work.

The first picture is before, then in the middle, and then today. The middle picture shows the difference in the cabinets. You can kind of see how bad the lower cabinets by the sink were. We found a wonderful product that Curtis used to do the cabinets that didn't require stripping the cabinets after I had sanded a few and annoyed the neighbors. This was so much easier on the neighbors nerves. We were happy to oblige them. See how the grain of the wood pops out.

So, here we are as of today. The grout needs cleaned and sealed again and then we will be done and on to the next project.
