Neil's getting married

In case someone hasn't heard...Neil is engaged to Amber Call. The date is set for Thursday May 21st with Friday night for the reception. We hope all can come to the reception at the Puyallup So. stake center. Of course invitations will be coming shortly but wanted to give everyone heads-up. Thanks to everyone who has cared for him and been there through growing up, mission and now this big step. Amber is amazing and we couldn't be happier for both of them.

Shavonne got in engaged on New Year's Eve just before midnight! There is no date set. His name is Joshua McClure. He is 22 1/2/. He lives in Las Vegas and works for the Credit Union. She met him at a Singles Activity. She is home until she gets married and then they will go to Rexburg for her to finish school and he plans to go to school also. He is currently going to school here and working. More later. Along with a picture.

Thought I'd let you see our little bit of snow. Nothing like you guys in Washington or anywhere else got, but it did throw Las Vegas for a loop.

Other areas like at Christopher's got far more than we did.

It is just beautiful.

Susan' s Kitchen

My kitchen is just about done. The results are wonderful and we are enjoying the fresh look. Curtis has put in a lot of work. I did help, but he did most of the work.

The first picture is before, then in the middle, and then today. The middle picture shows the difference in the cabinets. You can kind of see how bad the lower cabinets by the sink were. We found a wonderful product that Curtis used to do the cabinets that didn't require stripping the cabinets after I had sanded a few and annoyed the neighbors. This was so much easier on the neighbors nerves. We were happy to oblige them. See how the grain of the wood pops out.

So, here we are as of today. The grout needs cleaned and sealed again and then we will be done and on to the next project.

We forgot to post. Moma's PET scan is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11th. I will be in Boise for this weekend, and won't be leaving until Tuesday afternoon, so I'll be able to go with her to it. We know you all are, but please keep Moma in your prayers. We are praying that this horrible chemo will have helped. Moma is getting very worn out emotionally and spiritually, along with the physical weariness. Your phone calls and visits help to raise her spirits, so please don't forget her. We are praying that perhaps a miracle might be the Lord's will.
